Composition: Chalk, No. 1
A composition built through quiet contrast.
Composition: Chalk, No. 1 explores the relationship between dark and light through layered blocks of colour that gradually reveal themselves across the surface. Rather than relying on precise geometry, softened edges and visible brushwork preserve a sense of warmth and movement within the composition.
Its restrained palette creates a calm visual rhythm, allowing subtle shifts in tone and texture to reward closer observation.
