Seated Figure, No. 1
A figure study shaped by quiet dignity.
Seated Figure, No. 1 captures a solitary figure in a moment of quiet pause. With facial features softened almost to abstraction, the painting allows posture, silhouette and atmosphere to carry the composition, creating a study that feels timeless rather than tied to a particular person or place.
Warm earth tones and restrained brushwork give the artwork a calm confidence, celebrating the expressive power of suggestion over description.
